A global school of public and business administration in Latin America
Internationalization at FGV EBAPE
FGV EBAPE’s internationalization effort is one of its competitive advantages. The school is recognized as a global school of public and business administration in Latin America by the leading global accreditation institutions specialized in business schools (AACSB, EQUIS, ICAPA and NASPAA).
FGV EBAPE meets international standards of academic excellence. It has partnerships with more than 50 international schools and an active presence in international collaboration networks (SIGMA Alliance, IBEA, CLADEA, PRME, NASPAA, NIBES).
Students from undergraduate and graduate programs can take advantage of the many international opportunities offered at FGV EBAPE, from the possibility of traveling across four continents in undergraduate studies through the IBEA program (International Business Education Alliance) to attending master’s (academic and professional) and PhD programs taught 100% in English.

The school has a highly internationalized faculty used to publish cutting-edge research in leading international journals. FGV EBAPE has received dozens of visiting professors from international schools in recent years.
Internationalization is a strategy to prepare high-level professionals to work in different areas and organizations in Brazil and worldwide. In addition, it broadens horizons and trains outstanding leaders, prepared for the challenges of a global, multicultural, diverse, and interconnected market.
Global Faculty
Over 80% of the professors have an international background, extensive teaching experience abroad, and high-level publications in leading global journals.
Globally recognized names in public and private administration make up FGV EBAPE’s faculty: professors who combine a dedication to teaching and research with outstanding careers in the business and academic market worldwide.

Partners Institutions
FGV EBAPE aims to provide the maximum possible international experiences to its students, professors and administrators, developing and expanding the number and quality of academic agreements, based on reciprocity, with partner institutions. Below you can find a list of partner schools with which FGV EBAPE has a student exchange agreement.
International recognition
FGV EBAPE has been accredited by the top international accreditation institutions that evaluate business schools for over ten years. These processes recognize the high standards of FGV EBAPE’s programs, which are at the same level as the world’s leading schools.
Association for Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International)
Since 2018, FGV EBAPE has been accredited by AACSB International, the largest American accreditor for business schools. Only three Brazilian institutions have the same accreditation, which shows the high standards required and puts FGV EBAPE among an exclusive international group of schools of excellence.
The AACSB accreditation reinforces FGV EBAPE’s cutting-edge education, outstanding faculty, and highly qualified students.
European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS-EFMD)
In 2014, FGV EBAPE received the EQUIS international accreditation of the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS-EFMD), one of the most important certifications in the academic world. This accreditation represents a valuable international recognition granted only to institutions that meet the most demanding international quality standards in teaching and research.
In 2023, reflecting FGV EBAPE's constant effort to maintain the high standard of its teaching and research, the school had its accreditation renewed. In Brazil, only four institutions have received this recognition.
International Commission on Accreditation of Public Administration Education and Training (ICAPA)
The International Accreditation ICAPA (International Commission on Accreditation of Public Administration Education) is one of the achievements of FGV EBAPE’s Professional Master in Public Administration (MAP). ICAPA is responsible for the accreditation of public administration education programs and follows the norms of the International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration’s (IASIA) board of management.
Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA)
In 2023, FGV EBAPE was awarded another important international accreditation seal, that of NASPAA - Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs and Administration, recognized as the global accreditor of master's programs in public administration and related areas. After a rigorous evaluation process, we are the first school in Brazil to obtain the coveted NASPAA seal. Such recognition confirms the School's commitment to academic excellence in research and teaching in the field of public administration and contributes to the consolidation of its international authority among the best business schools in the world.
FGV EBAPE has received accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA) for its Professional Master’s programs. The AMBA accreditation is a mark of excellence awarded to only 2% of business schools worldwide.
The Business Graduates Association (BGA) is an organization that assesses the social impact of business schools and their postgraduate programs. Achieving BGA accreditation reinforces the commitment of FGV EBAPE’s Professional Master’s programs to values such as innovation, ethics, sustainability, responsible governance, and management practices aligned with contemporary challenges
