Executive Master's in Business Administration (MEX)
The MEX program is specifically designed to cultivate leaders in business administration by providing a rigorous curriculum that emphasizes applied research, decision-making processes, and critical thinking skills. Geared towards professionals from a broad spectrum of private, public, nonprofit, and hybrid organizations, MEX is structured to equip students with the knowledge and expertise needed to navigate complex business challenges and excel in their careers.
Professional Master's in Public Administration (MAP)
The MAP program was designed by FGV EBAPE to cultivate highly-skilled professionals for the Brazilian public sector. This flexible program allows students to balance academic studies with professional responsibilities, enhancing their skills and abilities in public administration. Upon completion, graduates are wellequipped to pursue academic careers, work as consultants, or take on managerial roles in public sector organizations.
Master in Management (MiM)
The MiM program is tailored for recent graduates and early-career professionals seeking to advance their business expertise. This highly immersive international program is conducted entirely in English and requires students' complete dedication. MiM provides students with the opportunity to obtain a double degree while studying abroad, further enhancing their global outlook and cross-cultural competencies.
Four International Accreditations
FGV EBAPE is a well-known and reputed school, recognized by leading international accreditation institutions for its outstanding programs, faculty, and curriculum:
In 2018, FGV EBAPE was awarded the AACSB International (AACSB) seal, the largest American accreditor for business schools. In Brazil, few business schools have this seal.
EQUIS international accreditation of the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS-EFMD) – one of the most important certifications in the academic world. In Brazil, only four institutions have this seal besides FGV EBAPE. EQUIS is valid for schools that have a high level of internationalization.
ICAPA (International Commission on Accreditation of Public Administration Education) – the commission is responsible for the accreditation of education and training programs according to the Board of Directors of the International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA).
After a rigorous evaluation process, FGV EBAPE has been awarded another important international accreditation seal, becoming the first school in Brazil to be accredited by NASPAA, Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration.
Rio de Janeiro
FGV EBAPE is located at the center of the so-called Marvelous City, offering stunning natural and urban landscapes. Rio de Janeiro has a unique atmosphere and is one of Brazil’s greatest economic forces and tourist destinations. The school is headquartered in a privileged area overlooking Sugar Loaf Mountain, with easy access to shops and transport.
Infrastructure
FGV EBAPE offers the students access to an excellent infrastructure to facilitate the development of educational activities. The “Ministro Roberto Campos” Building comprises a total area of 5,400m² and has eight study rooms, nine PBL (Problem-Based Learning) rooms, two auditoriums, two interactive rooms, and an IT lab.
In addition, FGV EBAPE students have access to both the FGV Headquarters and the Cultural Center, located a few meters away.
