The BSc in Administration has an average duration of four years.
Frequency and schedules
The BSC Program classes take place from Mondays to Fridays at the Barra da Tijuca and Botafogo units. Students can take advantage of all the infrastructure available to carry out collective studies, also having the opportunity to participate in student organizations in complementary time.

Professionals with a bachelor’s degree in administration are prepared to work in areas such as logistics, people management, marketing, and finance; they can work in public organizations (ministries, government agencies), private institutions (including fintech startups and others), and nonprofits. These professionals are ready to be independent consultants or choose to continue their academic careers due to a solid theoretical basis and exposure to research.
Employability
The employability rate of FGV EBAPE’s students is 95%. Alumni have achieved top management positions in different industries thanks to FGV EBAPE’s well-known solid training with high theoretical-empirical rigor.
The school facilitates students’ employability by adopting a practical approach throughout the program. Students can engage in junior enterprises, entrepreneurial initiatives (entrepreneurship league, for instance), social activities, be part of the debate club, and participate in internship programs. The undergraduate program’s activities put students in contact with leading employers that offer opportunities to apply their solid theoretical knowledge.
The Field Project allows students in the third and fourth academic semesters to immerse in real situations in partner companies such as IBM, Shell, iFood, B2W, and Ernst & Young. Professors and managers mentor them as they apply knowledge in real situations in public, private, or nonprofit organizations.
The Highered platform allows students to gain career opportunities in more than 90 countries. Students can access the platform during the program and after graduation through the Alumni Network. Only schools accredited by the EFMD, such as FGV EBAPE, can offer access to the platform.
The Internship and Career Development Center (NEDC) guides students in their first professional experiences in large companies and helps in their career development. In addition to this support, FGV EBAPE maintains partnerships with companies, creating opportunities to connect them with students.
International exchange programs
FGV EBAPE has partnership with more than 50 international universities, which allows students to participate in international exchange programs and build a career without borders. These programs are opportunities to include international experiences in the student’s CV, increase networking, and gain multicultural experiences.
Other possibilities for international immersion are the IBEA, the Double Degree with ESSEC, and the integration with the international pre-experience Master in Management. Internships can be carried out in organizations anywhere in Brazil or internationally, with the possibility of taking courses at our partner schools or online.
Extended Graduation
FGV EBAPE offers multiple opportunities for students to expand their possibilities.
FGV EBAPE offers students the opportunity to obtain two degrees after only eight semesters of study and internship.
The agreement between ESSEC and FGV EBAPE allows students from both schools to receive a bachelor’s degree in administration from FGV EBAPE and the Diplôme de l’EPSCI (bachelor’s degree in administration) from ESSEC Business School.
Students are eligible to participate in the program after completing the first four academic semesters in their home institutions (FGV EBAPE or ESSEC Global BBA).
Students of the BSc in Administration can work toward a dual degree (administration and law) through a partnership between FGV EBAPE and FGV DIREITO RIO. The only requirement is to complete at least four academic semesters of the Undergraduate Program in Law after completing FGV EBAPE’s BSc in Administration. The selection of students willing to pursue the dual degree occurs annually.
After completing the BSc in Administration, students pursuing an academic career can enroll in FGV EBAPE’s Master in Management. This graduate program is a pre-experience program to facilitate the development of new researchers.
Another opportunity is the dual-degree program with ESCP EUROPE, where the student completes the bachelor’s and master’s degrees in just five years. After completing the fourth year of the undergraduate program, students can start attending the courses of the master’s program at ESCP.
The International Business Education Alliance (IBEA) is an undergraduate program that prepares global citizens.
The program emerged from a partnership gathering FGV EBAPE, the University of Mannheim Business School (Germany), the University of South Carolina – Darla Moore School of Business (USA), and the ESSEC Business School (Singapore). After completing the first two academic years of the BSc in Administration at FGV EBAPE, students attend each of the remaining academic semesters in a different continent, which is an opportunity to experience the theory and practice of management in different countries and cultures.
Each host institution offers specific courses, cultural education, and fieldwork opportunities.
