History
EBAPE
EBAP was created in 1952 from the partnership between FGV and the UN (United Nations) to meet the demand for qualified professionals in public administration in Brazil. In 2002, the school began offering training aimed at the private sector and was renamed FGV EBAPE. Since then, it has been consolidating as an international reference among public and business administration schools.

Some of the milestones:
First school to offer a higher education program in business administration in Brazil and Latin America;
Pioneer in the publication of books of administration in the country;
First institution to use the system of academic credit and enrollment per course in Brazil;
The first president of the Brazilian Academy of Management (ANPAD) was a representative of FGV EBAPE. The school offered its facilities to host ANPAD’s first headquarter;
