One of the purposes of the ProPesquisa initiative is to allocate a certain amount of funding to implementing research projects conducted by Business School professors.  These projects are evaluated by a Steering Committee that consists of the EBAPE Board and two academics unconnected to the School.  This funding is intended to assure deeper involvement in research activities for faculty members, in order to produce new evidence, explore new approaches and develop new methods that, on the bottom line, will be used to underpin teaching activities in greater depth that are more up-to-date and critical.
