FGV EBAPE awards scholarships based on four categories:

Merit Scholarship
The Merit Scholarship is divided into two modalities:

Entrance Exam Merit Scholarship: awarded according to the entrance exam classification. Full scholarships are offered for the first five places in the entrance exam and partial scholarships for students between the 6th and 10th places. The merit scholarship, awarded according to the entrance exam, is non-refundable by the student and will be maintained during the program, observing the criteria expressed in the scholarship regulation.

Merit Scholarship for Academic Performance: It is awarded according to academic performance during the program. It consists of full or partial tuition. The merit scholarship for academic performance is awarded every six months, according to the scholarship accumulated academic performance (calculated based on the Coeficiente de Rendimento Acadêmico – CRA, an index obtained according to the performance of the student in exams and attendance) in the immediate and previous period. The scholarship for academic performance is personal, non-transferable, and non-refundable. In the event of non-completion or withdrawal of enrollment by a candidate or student, the scholarship will be suspended immediately.

Refundable scholarship
Awarded every six months in the form of school funding to undergraduate students who demonstrate good academic performance or economic and financial needs. The financial resources of the Refundable Scholarship come from the Fundação Getulio Vargas Scholarship Fund (Ordinance 17/2002), whose financing is adjusted by the General Market Price Index (IGP-M). The percentage to be granted to each student varies from 0% to 100% of the tuition fees in the school semester and will be defined by decision of the FGV EBAPE Scholarship Committee based on the documentation presented by the applicant, and the School Controller will be heard in this process for advisory purposes. The reimbursement is mandatory, and the student must start paying the financed amount one year after starting the program. The granting and maintenance of the refundable scholarship will depend on observing the respective criteria expressed in the scholarship regulation.
EBAPE/Social Scholarship
  • This scholarship is intended primarily for students who, regardless of the classification in the admission process, have attended all secondary education in public high schools and submit income tax returns (parents or guardians) to prove their need to access financial support. The student with the EBAPE/Social Scholarship will be exempt from tuition or school fees and will receive a food card and, in return, have to achieve an academic performance of seven (7.0) or above, participate in extension programs/projects offered by FGV EBAPE involving social issues and dedicate themselves exclusively to the program.

Employee and Dependent Scholarship
Granted to FGV employees and their legal dependents. It offers full or partial tuition for undergraduate programs, according to Item Eight of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (MR025546 / 2011). The concession will be made upon the request of the institution's employee.
