Retrospective 2023 - Year that illustrates the School’s excellence

This year was marked by a series of recognitions for the high-level work carried out by FGV EBAPE. Along with the MEC, there were three major milestones. In June, during the re-accreditation process with the Ministry of Education, the Evaluation Committee carried out a series of visits to the School, with interviews with managers, teaching staff, employees and students. The result was the maximum concept that attests to the quality offered in aspects such as infrastructure, teacher qualifications, pedagogical resources and others. 

NATIONAL RELEVANCE 

In November, FGV EBAPE was once again evaluated by the MEC, this time through the National Student Performance Exam, Enade. The grade obtained was 5.00, which is the maximum score in the evaluation, which made the BsC in Administration program the only one in Rio de Janeiro to achieve this result. In the Associate Degrees, conducted by IDT, the courses in Public Management, Financial Management, Marketing and Management Processes also achieved a grade of 5, and the Commercial Management course achieved a grade of 4. 

BEST ADMINISTRATION SCHOOL IN BRAZIL 

The most recent recognition was first place in the Folha University Ranking as the best private Business Administration school in Brazil. For the evaluation, the following indicators were considered: scientific research, internationalization, innovation, quality of teaching and evaluation of the job market. 

In stricto sensu postgraduate programs, FGV EBAPE was evaluated with the highest degree by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel - Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES, the Federal Government body responsible for evaluating the country's postgraduate courses. The Master's in Business Management (MEX), Master in Management (MiM), Professional Master's in Public Administration (MAP), and the Academic Master's and Doctorate in Administration programs were all awarded top marks. 

Currently, all courses offered by FGV EBAPE, from undergraduate to doctorate, obtained top marks in evaluations by the Ministry of Education. 

INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION

Internationally, FGV EBAPE also obtained the reaccreditation of the European seal, achieved for the first time in 2014, the EQUIS EFMD. Awarded by the European Quality Improvement System, this is one of the most relevant titles for academic and management research institutions in the world. The fact that it was renewed attests to the School's commitment to remaining up-to-date, innovative and pioneering at an international level.

ONLY SCHOOL TO CONQUER THE NASPAA AWARD

Proof of this pioneering spirit was the accreditation of NASPAA - The Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs and Administration, in the United States. The first school in Brazil to obtain this accreditation, and the only Administration teaching institution in the country with four international certifications, FGV EBAPE understands this milestone as yet another incentive to renew its commitment to generating positive impacts and transformations for the entire Ebapean community. 

NEW WEBSITE  

All these achievements can be read in detail on the new institutional website, which has a new look this year. More modern and dynamic, the portal becomes a more intuitive communication channel for disseminating FGV EBAPE information. The new portal gains exclusive areas for videos, news, events and new structures that facilitate user navigation. 

The results achieved so far are the result of a lot of work by the academic staff, teachers and students, the technical team and partnerships of excellence, which began 71 years ago with the founding of the School and which is constantly renewed, to offer the best experience for the community academia, organizations and society.
