The FGV EBAPE professor, Carlos Pereira, has been invited to deliver the Keynote Address – the main lecture of the event – at the Brazil Center of the Teresa Lozano Long Institute of Latin American Studies (LLILAS) at the University of Texas at Austin on March 11, 2025. On this occasion, he will present his latest book, Why Didn’t Brazilian Democracy Die? (Companhia das Letras), in a comparative analysis with other democracies worldwide.
In addition to this invitation, Professor Pereira has also been invited by the Department of Political Science at the University of California, San Diego, to give the same presentation on March 7, 2025.
