New CAPES assessment consolidates RAP as one of the best journals in Brazil
In the same year that the Revista de Administração Pública (RAP - Brazilian Journal of Public Administration), published by FGV’s Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (EBAPE), celebrates its 50th anniversary, the new Quarterly Assessment by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) (2013-2016) consolidates the journal in rankings for several fields. RAP kept its A2 grade in the main field of Administration, Accounting, and Tourism – the highest score for Brazilian journals – and showed significant progress in other fields.
The journal achieved the top grade of A1 in the field of Political Science and International Relations, and also progressed in the following fields: Psychology, from B1 to A2; Environmental Sciences, from B2 to B1; Pharmaceutics, from B5 to B3; Geography, from B2 to B1; Medicine II, from B5 to B4; and Collective Health, from B3 to B2. The journal was also classified in a new field – Architecture, Urbanism, and Design – starting with a grade of A2.
The results can be found on the Sucupira Platform.
The journal is an online publication by FGV and is available via FGV Digital Library.
