MAP and MEX Students and Alumni Take Part in International Immersion at the University of Lisbon

From January 20 to 24, 2025, students and alumni of FGV EBAPE’s Academic and Executive Master’s Programs in Business Management (MAP and MEX) took part in the International Module held by the Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas (ISCSP) at the University of Lisbon. With a focus on Governance and Sustainability, the immersion offered participants an enriching academic and professional experience, allowing for an in-depth exploration of best European practices on these topics.

The program combined theoretical classes taught by ISCSP professors and subject-matter experts with visits to prominent institutions and organizations in Portugal. Throughout the week, participants had the opportunity to explore and discuss innovative strategies applied in corporate governance and sustainability policies.

Beyond the academic dimension, the module also fostered the exchange of experiences among students, encouraging networking with Portuguese and international professionals and expanding their global perspective on sustainable challenges and solutions across various contexts.

Participation in the International Module reflects FGV EBAPE’s commitment to providing its students with high-quality, global academic experiences aligned with the contemporary demands of the market and society. The experience at ISCSP highlights the value of knowledge internationalization and the exchange of best practices between countries.

For Deusdina Pereira, an alumna of FGV EBAPE’s Master’s in Administration, the experience was transformative:
"It was a privilege to take part in the International Module at ISCSP – University of Lisbon, focused on Governance and Sustainability. This experience broadened my perspective on these topics through a global lens. I’m grateful to FGV EBAPE and the University of Lisbon for this unique opportunity, which will certainly contribute to both my professional and personal journey. An important step toward new challenges!"

Bruna Titonelli also emphasized the program’s impact:
"Just when I thought the MEX program couldn’t get any better, came the opportunity to attend the module at the University of Lisbon. Topics such as social responsibility, globalization, and regenerative leadership challenged us to rethink our role as professionals in today’s world. Moreover, the course was organized in a way that allowed us to experience the city’s cultural and culinary richness. It was definitely a journey that, in addition to the academic contribution, created lifelong memories."

The MEX and MAP programs are currently accepting applications for their intensive cohorts.
