The FGV DGPE, in partnership with OECD netFWD and Education Above All, will host the International Seminar “Catalyzing Change: The Role of Education in Building a Just and Sustainable Future”. This event will provide a broad reflection on the central role of education in building a more just and inclusive society, addressing contemporary global challenges.
The seminar program highlights key discussions on how education can contribute to mitigating climate change, promoting public health, and advancing G20 summit objectives, with a focus on social inclusion, sustainable development, and governance reform.
Prominent figures scheduled to speak include Brazil’s Minister of Human Rights and Citizenship, Macaé Evaristo, and Secretary of Continuing Education, Literacy, Diversity, and Inclusion at the Ministry of Education (Secadi/MEC), Zara Figueiredo. These leaders will share essential insights on how inclusive education and human rights can be leveraged to ensure a sustainable future for all.
