FGV EBAPE’s undergraduate student Anna Leobons won the silver medal at the 1st OBAdm, which was organized by the Regional Administration Council of Rio de Janeiro.
The competition was designed for students at the technical level and undergraduate and graduate students of administration. The main goal was to disseminate the importance of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
More than 30,000 participants engaged in the OBAdm activities, which focused on the administration of the SDGs within organizations, addressing the SDGs:
- SDG 8: Decent work and economic growth
- SDG 9: Industry, innovation, and infrastructure
- SDG 11: Sustainable cities and communities
- SDG 12: Responsible consumption and production
For Anna Leobons, OBAdm was an innovative and interesting event, aligned with market trends. It was designed to be digital and gamified, with online tests and assessments in game format, to analyze the ability to manage resources and make assertive decisions in real-time.
According to Leobons, “at FGV EBAPE the digital environment is widely used and encouraged, especially in cases of academic innovation. So, this familiarity made me feel safe and well-prepared to participate in the challenge. (…) The experience was especially enriching since ESG is one of my career interests. I intend to finish my degree this year, with a final paper on sustainability indicators, and continue my studies with an MBA in ESG, such as the one offered by FGV.”
Professor Bernardo Fajardo, Coordinator of the Undergraduate Program in Administration at FGV EBAPE, was proud of the result, “This achievement highlights our program’s commitment to excellence and aligns with FGV EBAPE’s dedication to the Sustainable Development Goals.”
