FGV EBAPE expands market relations and founds Alumni Board

On September 23, the Board of the Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration (FGV EBAPE) and the coordination of the Alumni Network held the first meeting of the Alumni Board. The meeting, held at the School's headquarters, aimed to start the Board's activities and to present and debate the School's current challenges. The Board is formed by alumni who are executives in relevant organizations.

FGV EBAPE's director, Professor Flavio Vasconcelos, gave participants an overview of the School's strategy, program portfolio, and future goals and challenges. Board members had the opportunity to contribute with a market insight combined with their life experiences and the experience they had when students at FGV EBAPE. This initiative broadens the connection between academia, the organization's reality and needs regarding professional development and training, and the challenges of contemporary society.

The meeting was attended by the FGV EBAPE's Board and by FGV EBAPE Director; the Head of the Center for Academic Training and Research, Roberto Pimenta, the International Accreditations Coordinator, Yuna Fontoura, the Head of the Graduation Center, Henrique Heidtman and the Alumni Coordinator, and responsible for founding the Council, Darliny Amorim.
