Admission Process
The Professional Master’s in Public Administration (MAP) program admission process occurs twice a year.
MAP:
1st Quarter
Application opening: July
Classes start: January
2nd Quarter
Application opening: November
Classes start: April
Intensive MAP:
Registration opens: February
Start of classes: July
How to apply
To participate in the admission process, the applicant must register through this website within the deadline. To do this, simply register by providing your personal details, paying the registration fee, and uploading the required documentation and Letter of Intent.
After analyzing the documentation, applicants will be invited to the online interview, with the program coordination.
If approved, the applicant will be advised to register and will be able to schedule the start of classes.
Applicants approved in previous admission processes (up to 2 years ago) can apply to the current process using the approval result. They will be exempt from the eliminatory stages of this admission process.
Required Documentation
Registration will be formalized by uploading the documentation below, on the registration page of the Selection Process. The selection process is carried out online at all stages.
- Identity Document;
- Passport (foreign applicants);
- Letter of Intent detailing the reasons for choosing the program, relating it to the applicant’s CV and future expectations, with the following formatting: Space between lines: 1.5; Font: Times New Roman; Font size: 12; Margins: 2.5; Sheet: A4);
- Lattes/CNPq CV attaching copies of the most relevant works, if any (optional);
- Curriculum vitae;
- Undergraduate degree. In the case of degrees taken abroad, the document must be consularized by the Brazilian representation (Embassies/Consulates) in the country of origin of the Diploma or apostilled, in accordance with the Hague Convention, and presented with a sworn translation;
- Applicants in the process of completing an undergraduate degree will be able to present, for registration in the admission process, a statement predicting completion of the program (issued less than 60 days before). To complete enrollment, it will be mandatory to present the Diploma or Declaration containing the date of graduation;
- Classification and grade in the ANPAD Test within the validity period (optional);
- Social Name Request Form
- Medical Report (People with Disabilities)
Additional information:
- All documents must be scanned, generated in “PDF” format, and attached to the Registration Form.
- Photos of documents will not be accepted.
- The maximum size allowed for uploading each document is 1.5 MB.
- Documents with a front and back or more than 1 (one) page must be scanned into a single file (e.g., identity, passport, diploma, etc.).
- Applicants must check the status of the documentation sent, using the “Track your application” link at https://processoseletivo.fgv.br/MPAP/ACOMPANHAMENTO, available on the website www.fgv.br/processoseletivo, “Overview” menu.
Documents will be verified within 3 (three) business days after confirmation of payment of the registration fee.
