There are several funding possibilities in the FGV EBAPE CAPES-PrInt program: scholarships abroad, scholarships in Brazil, and other funding arrangements.
Scholarships abroad
There are three types of scholarships abroad:
- Visiting Scholar Abroad; and
- Training in Short Courses or “Summer/Winter Schools”; and
- PhD Sandwich Scholarships
1 - Senior Visiting Scholar
It is intended for professors or researchers with an employment relationship who have held a PhD for over ten years.
Applications are free and completed online by filling out a form. Documents must be sent in pdf format by the deadline defined in public notices.

The Senior Visiting Scholar Abroad scholarship duration ranges from three (minimum) to 12 months (maximum).
2- Junior Visiting Scholar Abroad
This program targets professors or researchers with an employment relationship who have held a PhD for less than ten years.

The Junior Visiting Scholar Abroad Scholarship duration ranges from three (minimum) to 12 months (maximum).
Training in Short Courses or “Summer/Winter Schools.”
Scholarships available in this modality are awarded to students enrolled in Master’s or PhD programs at FGV EBAPE.
They aim to support the students’ mobility to academic centers of excellence abroad, fostering increased proficiency in foreign languages and providing greater international visibility to the scientific production developed in Graduate Programs.

The duration of the Training Scholarship in Short Duration Courses or “Summer/Winter Schools” is three months.
Sandwich Doctorate
The Sandwich Doctorate awards scholarships abroad to students in Higher Education Institutions with PhD programs recognized by CAPES. The internship must include, as a priority, research in less consolidated areas of knowledge in Brazil.

The Sandwich Doctoral Scholarship duration ranges from six (minimum) to 12 months (maximum).
SCHOLARSHIPS IN BRAZIL
There are two types of scholarships in Brazil: Visiting Scholar in Brazil and Young Talent.
Visiting Scholar in Brazil
This modality aims to increase the international collaboration network, bringing international professors and residents to work in the FGV EBAPE’s graduate programs and consolidating international partnerships to improve the quality of academic production.

The Visiting Scholar Scholarship in Brazil lasts up to 12 months, divided into three periods throughout the Institutional Internationalization Project.
Young Talent
This scholarship is intended for young researchers, Brazilian or international, residing abroad, with relevant international academic-scientific experience (such as a master’s or PhD, or sandwich master’s or doctorate for at least 12 months) to carry out research activities or teaching.

The Young Talent Scholarship’s duration varies from six (minimum) to 36 (maximum) within the Institutional Internationalization Project.
OTHER GRANTS
1. Job Mission
This grant aims to offer researchers or professors, within the scope of research projects in international cooperation or individual missions, financial assistance for activities related to the execution of research projects in international cooperation, presentation of research results in leading congresses and international events in the related area of knowledge, and prospecting for possible partnerships.

The benefits included in this type of grant are:

- Daily stipend (from 7 to 20 days)
- Health insurance
The duration of the Work Mission varies from 7 to 20 days.
