Emerald, one of the most respected academic publishers, annually awards the best article published in their journals. The article “Internationalization of management neoliberalism and the Latin America challenge”, produced by the professors Alexandre Faria and Ana Guedes, from EBAPE, co-authored with Professor Eduardo Ibarra-Colado, from Universidad Autónoma de México, and published by Critical Perspectives on International Business in 2010, was named Outstanding Paper Award Winner by Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence 2011.

The message of Emerald to the authors about the relevance of the article - “Your paper has been selected as it was one of the most impressive pieces of work the (Editorial) team has seen throughout 2010” - is a sign of international recognition of the interdisciplinary project on "international management" (or "international critical management") led by Professors Ana Guedes and Alexandre Faria. The book "International Management and International Relations", edited by professors of EBAPE and published by Routledge in 2010, is another publication resulting from this project.
