For the second year running, Universities UK is a resounding success among EBAPE students. The event, which took place on October 19th, was the result of a partnership between EBAPE and the British Council and brought together 17 British Universities, some of which are ranked among the top UK universities, according to the Times Higher Education ranking.
Those who took part in the event had the opportunity to talk directly to the representatives of the institutions and ask questions regarding their institutions’ undergraduate, graduate and MBA programs. Students were also able to attend thematic presentations given by representatives of some of the universities present.
The partnership between the British Council and EBAPE has provided the opportunity for some of EBAPE’s students to be directly involved in the event and work as stand assistants. This was the case of undergraduate student, Tobias Starling, who was very happy to be able to work during the fair: “It was an excellent professional experience and, above all, a cultural one” said Tobias.
According to EBAPE’S International Officer, Mônica Balanda, the education fair was a positive experience for the School. “We were very happy to host this event again this year. I was able to talk to some of the representatives of the universities, who told me they were impressed by FGV’s facilities. The advantage of holding an event like this in an institution like EBAPE is being able to have direct contact with the student body. This was also an excellent opportunity to reinforce EBAPE’s brand.”
