EBAPE’s International Relations Department hosted, on December 8th, a large farewell party to celebrate the end of the second term of Master’s classes for international students. The party, which took place at Icaro Restaurant, Rio de Janeiro, brought together international students, members of staff from the International Relations Department, as well as Brazilian students who are part of the Buddy Program.
Present at the event were also some of the professors who gave classes in the international program, such as Istvan Kasznar, Monica Pinhanez, Vicente Riccio and Carolina Gomes (professor of Portuguese for the Northwestern University students).
The musical entertainment was provided by a DJ, who ensured dancing all night long, and guests were able to enjoy an excellent buffet dinner. The students had a great time and will take with them fond memories of Rio de Janeiro, to which they’ll say goodbye at the end of the year. That is the case of French student, Vicent Cotte, who said “staff at EBAPE really made me feel welcome” and wanted to “thank everyone in the school for the kind attention given to international students".
