The assessment process encompasses the dimensions established by Law Nº 10,861/2004 that introduced Brazil’s National Higher Education Assessment System (SINAES) in Article 3, restructuring the following Axes:

Axis 1 – Institutional Planning and Assessment;

Axis 2 – Institutional Development: Mission, Institutional Development Plan; and Social Accountability;

Axis 3 – Academic Policies on: Teaching, Research, Graduate and Extension Studies, Communications with Society and Student Outreach;

Axis 4 – Management Policies on: Personnel, Faculty, Technical and Administrative Staff Careers, Management Organization and Financial Sustainability;

Axis 5 – Physical Infrastructure
